House of Memories Armed Forces Dementia Awareness Day – Museum of Liverpool

House of Memories is an award-winning dementia awareness programme, aimed at supporting family and professional carers to help people to live well with dementia.

Our brand new Armed Forces’ Dementia Awareness Days will shine a spotlight on people within the Armed Forces community whose lives have been touched by dementia.

Whether you are caring for a Veteran who is living with dementia, or you were Armed Forces personnel, now caring for a family member, we want to invite you to the Museum of Liverpool to find out more about dementia and the resources and activities we can provide to support you and your loved ones. The day will include high-quality theatrical experiences, a chance to try out our innovative My House of Memories app and a museum memory tour. Those working and volunteering within the Armed Forces community today are also welcome to attend.

There are two dates available and the day will start at 10.30am and end at 2.30pm.
