Chagall Modern Master at the Tate

Chagall Modern Master at the Tate

The Tate, I like the gallery and there were lots of people there for the exhibition, but sadly, of the Vets in Practice Crew there was just one, come on guys I had to get out of my sick bed, but for me it was worth it this is one artist I can understand and the body of his work is not just large in number but the variation in style and composition from pencil and pen to oil to stained glass to ceramics you can see the influences in a lot of his work from the early folk scenes of his village along with his religion to his mixing with the likes of Picasso and Matisse in Paris (ahh to be on the left bank) the colors of this period seem to brighten and there seems to be  much more freedom in his work.

They would not let me take any photos so these are from the net, the reason the owners did not want there works photographed ??????

The exhibition is well worth a visit for me 8 out of 10
